What to Expect During Your Visit to Active PT
It can be a difficult decision to seek care for a pain or injury during a global pandemic. ActivePT is dedicated to providing you a safe atmosphere to receive care. We have taken thorough steps to keep you and our team safe. Our policies and procedures are updated daily as the situation changes and our team has been trained to care for patients with the most up to date information provided by the CDC.
Prior to your appointment
- We recommend taking your temperature before leaving home for your appointment – call us prior to your appointment to discuss our policies if you have a temperature >100.4, shortness of breath, persistent cough, or diminished sense of taste or smell
- If you are a new patient, you will receive an HIPAA secure email, allowing you to register from the comfort of your own home
At your appointment
- If you need assistance entering the clinic, please call when you arrive
- Arrive wearing your mask (our team is required to wear masks as well)
- We will take your temperature upon arrival
- Each visit upon arrival, you will be asked to complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire, and/or attesting that you have not had a fever >100.4, shortness or breath, persistent cough, or diminished sense of taste or smell
- ActivePT has an enhanced process for cleaning patient care, team, and waiting areas consistent with the most up to date CDC guidelines.
ActivePT will continue to offer live video visits for those who prefer to be seen from the comfort of their own home.
