Doctor of Physical Therapy, Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified in Dry Needling

Mike graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina in 2021. He completed his undergraduate education in Athletic Training at Winona State University in 2017. He has been a member of the ActivePT team since 2021.

Using a patient-centered approach is Mike’s passion. He believes that getting to know the patient’s “story” and understanding their goals is critical to their success. Mike enjoys treating all orthopedic conditions but especially finds joy in treating jaw pain, headaches, and spine-related pain. To provide his patients with the best possible care, he has completed numerous continuing education courses for advanced training in dry needling, spinal manipulations, and the evaluation and management of jaw pain. In 2023, Mike achieved the prestigious status of becoming a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist.

In his spare time, Mike enjoys playing golf, spending time with friends and family, and keeping close tabs on everything involving Duke athletics.
