Megan earned her Physical Therapist Assistant Degree from St. Catherine University, St. Paul in 2018. Prior to this, she attended the University of Minnesota Duluth where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science. She has been a member of the Active PT team since 2018. During her undergraduate studies and prior to becoming a PTA, Megan was highly involved as both a Team Leader for the Personal Training team and a Lead Instructor for the Group Fitness Team at UMD. From these experiences, Megan brings both excitement and enthusiasm to each patient in helping them to achieve their goals.
Megan enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic and sports injuries. She takes a hands-on approach combining both manual therapy techniques and creative home exercise programs to decrease pain and improve function. She expands her treatment knowledge by reading current research studies related to her areas of practice.
Megan lives in Kasson with her husband and two sons. Outside the clinic, she enjoys running, fishing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Megan is always eager to hear about your race experiences as she has completed several half and full marathons.
