Matthew Kallis earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, in 2026. He completed his undergraduate studies at Upper Iowa University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and was a member of the football team. Matt joined the ActivePT team in 2026.
Matt has a strong clinical interest in serving athletes, particularly those involved in lifting and running. He also focuses on providing care for neck, shoulder, back, and foot or ankle pain. Matt believes in a hands-on approach to assessment and treatment. Pairing one-on-one appointments and active listening allows him to better understand the specific injury or pain a patient is experiencing. He is passionate about supporting patients as they regain the confidence and ability to get back to the activities they love.
Outside the clinic, Matt lives in Rochester and enjoys staying active through weight training, running, and golf, and values spending quality time with his friends and family.
