Kayla earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Concordia University, St. Paul in 2019. She earned her Athletic Training degree at Saint Cloud State University in 2013. Kayla was a Division II collegiate athlete and team captain for the Saint Cloud State University Women’s Soccer team. Prior to graduate school, Kayla joined the ActivePT team in 2013 as an Athletic Trainer.
Kayla takes a hands-on approach to treatment. She believes the treatment plan should be both collaborative and individualized to meet patients’ goals and needs. Her primary clinical areas of interest include jaw pain, shoulder, foot and ankle, and running-related injury rehabilitation. She has achieved the prestigious status of being a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
Outside of the clinic, Kayla enjoys woodworking, spending time with her family, staying active, and being outdoors, running, playing soccer, and golf.
