Josh Mattison, DPT, graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota in 2024. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 2021. During his college career, Josh played running back on the football team at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He joined the ActivePT team in 2024.
Josh is passionate about helping people get back to doing the activities they love with less pain. He believes in thorough examination and open communication to best understand each person’s specific injury, pain, and story. He believes that a hands-on approach to therapy combined with progressive loading helps his patients achieve their individual goals.
Josh lives in Rochester and enjoys being outdoors, lifting weights, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family.
