Jill completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences in 2010. Prior to graduate school, Jill was a Division I collegiate athlete at Iowa State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She has been a member of the ActivePT team since 2016.
Jill has experience treating patients from a broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions but has a passion for treating running-related injuries, hip pain, and post-operative rehabilitation. As one of our running specialists, she focuses on keeping runners training during their recovery, whenever possible. She uses a hands-on approach when treating patients. Jill is committed to working with her patients to develop an individualized treatment program specific to your goals. In 2018, Jill achieved the prestigious honor of becoming board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
Jill has over 300 hours of continuing education focused on manual therapy techniques, helping facilitate optimal function and improving patient outcomes. Jill lives in Rochester, Minnesota with her husband and 3 children. She is very close to family and loves spending time with her siblings, nieces, and nephews. In her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking, baking, and traveling.
