Hunter Rau, PT, DPT, graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Jamestown in Fargo, North Dakota in 2021. He completed his undergraduate education at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2018. During his college career, Hunter was captain of the men’s golf team. He joined the ActivePT team in 2021.
Hunter is passionate about helping people understand their injuries. He has a special interest in weightlifting form and performance, and in helping weightlifters continue their training while rehabilitating an injury. He believes that a hands-on approach to treatment allows him to most effectively reduce his patients’ pain. Hunter utilizes clinical experience, research, and patient-centered care to provide his patients with the best possible results.
Hunter lives in Mantorville, MN with his wife Lillian, and their red lab Pepin. In his spare time, Hunter enjoys golf, fishing, boating on the river, and especially taking Pepin pheasant hunting.
