Emily Deno, DPT, graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Mayo School of Health Sciences in Rochester, Minnesota in 2015. She completed her undergraduate education at Winona State University in 2012. During her college career, Emily was a member of the Winona State University Track and Field Team. She joined the ActivePT team in 2024.
Pelvic floor rehabilitation is Emily’s focus and passion as a physical therapist. She enjoys helping her patients improve their pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy or postpartum pain, urinary incontinence, and diastasis recti. Emily strives to empower her patients and instill confidence in their ability to live an active and healthy lifestyle. She uses education and a hands-on approach to assess and treat her patient’s issues. Emily enjoys collaborating with her patients so that care remains individualized and focused on their specific goals. She uses a variety of exercises, manual therapy skills, and movement to achieve each patient’s desired level of activity.
Emily lives in Rochester with her husband and three daughters. She enjoys CrossFit, being active outdoors, family time with her husband and kids, and visiting her family in Minnesota, California, and Hawaii.
