Courtney graduated from Southwest Baptist University with her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to graduate school, Courtney was a Division I collegiate athlete and team captain for the University of Minnesota Women’s Swim team.
Courtney’s primary areas of specialty include shoulder rehabilitation, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and concussions. In addition, Courtney specializes in working with swimmers, CrossFit athletes, and triathletes. As a high-level competitive swimmer and triathlete, she particularly enjoys treating sports injuries and helping her patients reach their goals. She has presented her research on concussion management at the National Physical Therapy Combined Sections Meeting. She is certified in functional dry needling, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, and Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete. In 2018, Courtney achieved an outstanding honor and became board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
Outside of the clinic, Courtney lives in Rochester with her husband, daughter, and pets. She enjoys participating and competing in CrossFit, photography, and cheering on her Golden Gophers. She has completed several half and full marathons, in addition to an Ironman 70.3.
