Ashlee completed her doctorate in physical therapy at Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin in 2014. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Biology from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minnesota in 2011.
Ashlee knew from a young age that she wanted to be a Physical Therapist. Her family was extremely active in motocross, so she experienced first-hand just how much an injury can impact someone’s daily life, and how physical therapy can help people get back to living the life they love! Ashlee loves the passion and dedication to excellence that comes from a privately-owned business. ActivePT is truly committed to providing individualized care utilizing hands-on techniques and exercise programs tailored to the patient’s specific goals.
With a true passion for creating individualized care plans for each patient, Ashlee leverages her knowledge and experience every day. Ashlee’s experience throughout her career includes outpatient orthopedics, post-surgical care, injuries related to sports and dancing, acute care, and home care. Her areas of special interest include vestibular rehabilitation (commonly known as vertigo) and concussion rehabilitation.
Ashlee has two goals for all of her patients: “First, I want each patient to walk away with the highest level of functional ability for the professional and recreational aspects of their lives through a fun and uplifting physical therapy experience. Most importantly, I hope to empower patients to be conscious of their overall wellness and to find interest in an active, healthy lifestyle.”
Ashlee lives in Waterville, Minnesota where she grew up. She lives with her husband, Jim, her son, Killian, her daughter, Taelynn, and their two dogs Diesel and Letty. They enjoy hosting friends and family at their home and keeping up a large garden and canning a variety of vegetables.
